Definition of Cookie
By cookie we mean the generation of small text files that are sent from the site to the user's browser. These are stored before being reused by the site concerned for the next visit by the user. The cookie cannot re-use any data on the user's hard drive and also cannot generate and / or transmit computer viruses or store email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be delegated to other technologies. In this document, the term 'cookie' refers to both cookies, properly called, and all similar technologies.
Type of cookies
Cookies can be first or third party, where "first part" means the cookies that report the site as a domain, while "third party" means cookies that are related to external domains. Third party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as "third party", not managed by the site. These subjects may possibly also install first-party cookies, by saving your cookies on the site domain.

Another type of cookies are the so-called "Flash Cookies" (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver some content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember your settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but they are managed through a different interface than that provided by the browser used.

Nature of cookies
Regarding the nature of cookies, there are different types:

Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information company service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service⠀ ?? They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:
• navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (permitting, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are actually necessary for the proper functioning of the site;
• cookie analytics, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve the performance of the site;
â € ¢ functionality cookies , that allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the tongue, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. The prior consent of users is not required for the installation of these cookies (more information in the paragraph Cookie management below).

Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of surfing the net.

The consent of the interested party is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the provision (more information in the paragraph Cookie management below) the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the "Cookie management" section.

In case of third party cookies, the site has no direct control of individual cookies and cannot control them (it cannot install them directly or delete them). However, you can manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below), o the sites indicated in the "Cookie management" section.

The User is therefore invited to check on the third party website indicated in the table below.
